05 Dec 2019  Panasonic Avionics Corporation has signed a multi-year agreement for Ku-band capacity on two multi-beam payloads on the Eutelsat 10B satellite, due to be launched in 2022.


Falcon 9 launches Dragon cargo vessel
05 Dec 2019  Rocket: Falcon 9; Payload: Dragon CRS-19; Date: 5 December 2019, 1729 UTC; Launch site: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, USA. Dragon will deliver more than 2,560 kg of NASA cargo and science investigations, including studies of malting barley in microgravity, the spread of fire, and bone and muscle loss.

04 Dec 2019  SpaceX called off an attempt to launch a Dragon cargo vessel aboard a Falcon 9 on 4 December owing to out-of-limits upper level winds over Cape Canaveral. Another attempt to launch the space station resupply flight is planned at 1729 UTC on 5 December.
JAXA outsources satellite 'ride-sharing'
04 Dec 2019  Officials at JAXA have struck a deal with Tokyo-based venture firm Space BD to arrange for different microsatellites to be launched on the same rocket.
RISAT-2BR1 to be launched on 11 December
04 Dec 2019  PSLV-C48, which is the 50th mission of PSLV, will launch RISAT-2BR1 from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota. The launch is tentatively scheduled at 0955 UTC on 11 December 2019, subject to weather conditions.
Spaceflight's SEOPS-2 mission to launch multiple spacecraft from ISS
04 Dec 2019  Spaceflight announced that together with Hypergiant SEOPS, it will be launching three CubeSats from the International Space Station (ISS) and Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft in early January.

03 Dec 2019  The launch of a Rokot rocket with three Gonets-M telecommunications satellites from Plesetsk has been scheduled for 26 December (local time), First Deputy Director General of Gonetsk Satellite System company Oleg Khimochko was quoted as saying.


Thales Alenia Space wins new EGNOS contract from ESA
05 Dec 2019  Thales Alenia Space announced that it has signed a new contract with the European Space Agency (ESA), on behalf of the European Commission, to upgrade Europe's EGNOS satellite navigation system. Via this contract Thales Alenia Space will develop a new version of EGNOS (version V242B), incorporating new advanced functionalities.


EPS follow-on payload programme completes CDR
04 Dec 2019  The Enhanced Polar System Recapitalisation (EPS-R) Payload programme reached a major programme milestone completing a successful Delta Critical Design Review (CDR). Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is the EPS-R Payload developer via an approximately US$410 million contract awarded in February 2018 that runs through December 2023.
Hayabusa2 starts return voyage home
